Two 20 something women expose the truth of dating, sex, and love. HINT: “We don’t have to take our clothes off.”
WHAT?! WHAT. WHAT!!! Wow. I have no words. Actually, I have a ton of words, because this brand new brain child of a PODCAST has them all BELOW!
Did we sit too far from the mic? Probably. Talk way too passionately and hyena laugh a lot? Absolutely. Accidentally delete the original podcast intro? Yeah; that was me. Let me be real candid with ya, pal.
I am no wizard with sound. Visual arts + photo and even some videography are my safety net, but sound and its weird graphs and grids and techno weirdness that looks like a bunch of lines on a screen? Not my niche…which is precisely why I decided to create a podcast of my own. It was during my 2 hour work commutes in Los Angeles that I realized I spent half the time talking to myself or having hypothetical conversations with hypothetical people and thinking, “Dang. If only I could have recorded my make believe friends and me.” As a kooky artist who lives in her head, thrives off good conversation, gets a real thrill from taboo topics + things you’d never ask your mother, and connecting with people…I knew from the trenches of my soul I wanted to buy a mic and word vomit all over it.
There is MUCH more to come, but for now, there is no earthly way I can shove this completed episode to the back burner. Moriah and I recorded it back in May, so it’s been long enough! I posted a teaser back in June, and was actually shocked by the response of people wanting to hear from two 20 something crazies. One guy has reached out to me at least 3x since June inquiring about when this FULL podcast would be launched. Here ya go, buddy! Bless him. Shoutout to my dear pal/social media partner in crime, Renee, for shepherding me in the graphic design portion/tweaks of this episode. Here’s to staring at fonts until our retinas bleed!
Facebook is currently trolling me and FAILING to send my verification code to log back on and post this sucker, so I’m hoping between this here blog and texting it with crossed fingers to hopeful listeners (wink), that the curious souls from our podcast preview will find it. 😉
How did you get the name “Bodacious”? What topics will you be covering? What has been the delay? What is the purpose?
And for that, stay tuned!
Coming soon to Apple + Spotify podcasts. For now, kick back, settle in, and prepare for the juicy scoop from THE dynamic duo of Moriah Elisabeth Sutton and Anna Gray Smith for Episode 1. Welcome to BODACIOUS: The Podcast! *confetti*
