A Skeptic’s Guide To Free Thinking: 7 Ways To Question Mainstream Media Like a BOSS

Nothing invigorates my soul more than a skeptic. I am a justice seeker and liberty enthused little lady, and digging for truth brings so much joy! It is music to my ears when a former two party system junkie, suddenly begins to question the very things they once thought were normal and/or true. I can see the great, red pill awakening a mile away. Usually it begins in my Instagram inbox, after I post a 40 video clip observation/rant, a strand of memes, or my own self imposed questions and skepticism. They have their own, special awakening to the idea that maybe…just maybe…there could be another option or answer to all of the televised media, publicized media, social media, and herd mentality they’ve always consumed. And you know what? They’re probably right. It’s kind of like going from eating McDonald’s every other day, to Veganism.

It is important to begin one’s quest unbiased, set aside any preconceived notions, and allow the evidence to speak for itself. It is entirely possible to abide by certain morality, values, and politics, while restraining a bias before seeing the facts for yourself. It’s easy to allow biased speculation to predetermine an outcome, but I want to challenge you to open your mind, dig deep, and allow the evidence/facts to speak to your conclusion instead. Many ask for my sources to gain informed, unbiased, factual information, which is fabulous place to start. While I do have a few websites, politicians, journalists, or leaders I trust for a rational opinion, for the most part, I do not have some stock pile of sources. Why?

Because no matter which end of the political spectrum, almost any blog, website, opinion column, TV network, Youtube superstar, will be biased vs. analytically factual. It is nearly impossible to avoid any sort of agenda, no matter how far right or left. People have this absurd idea that I am somehow this smarty pants, who just happens to be crafty and inherited a gene of intelligence. I am here to tell you that formulating an opinion, educated guess, or conclusion is not as brain frying as it might seem. In fact, it is right at your fingertips, accessible, and arguably FUN! You do not have to be a genius whatsoever. Spoiler: I nearly failed Government & Economics in high-school. Indeed, there is hope for anybody. Onward!

I argue that we need LESS sources, and to instead, ask BETTER questions.

If we rely on 10 different blogs or podcasts recorded in tinfoil hat guy’s closet – even after we are “red pilled” – then we are still remaining spoon fed. It doesn’t matter how far fascist or communist minded they are. We must question both ends of the spectrum. The idea of independent (or “free”) thinking, is to break away from the reliance on media thinking for us.

A source is a great compliment, but it shouldn’t dictate our first conclusion. Headlines can often be twisted to fit an agenda, resulting in a biased opinion, rather than factually based, evidence led, and (in my wildest dreams) unbiased. Asking a series of questions – one’s own interrogation sesh – on said sources, however, is precisely how I reach my conclusions, thoughts, and 40 clip InstaStory rants. It really is quite simple. This is why I have narrowed this post down to 7 MUST ASK questions, as a present for you. If gifts are your love language, then take this as my token of endearment. Let’s get down to it, shall we?

1. Who are the key players?

Let’s start broad; end small. What people are involved? This is the simplest, yet arguably one of the most crucial pieces to the puzzle. It’s easy to read a headline, read with a presupposition based upon said headline, and completely miss who all or what is involved. It’s easy to scan and pick up on a name or two. It can be discreet, if not read thoroughly. Scan carefully, and you might find that there are more key players than initially meets the eye. Snack on the media source, and take note of the recurring sponsors or people or funders mentioned. Who or what keeps appearing? Think of the key players as you would the main characters of a book or a movie. I broke this down in my post on Hollywood, Bill Gates, & Covid19. Take note of who is involved. This is the easy part. This includes people, places, organizations, institutes, etc. An example of this would be taking Covid19 and listing out: CDC, WHO, China, USA, Bill Gates, etc.

2. Who are the key players affiliated with?

Now that we have our key players, it’s time to go overdrive on stalking their connections. Who hangs with who? This will tell you a lot about someone. Seriously. Their social media accounts will reveal a lot about them, who they spend their time with, and what their circle looks like. This is where we begin to connect some of the red dots, and it is freakishly exciting and enlightening! If, however, their accounts are more private in this regard, check out their website, blog, and take a look at their past timeline. Look at who they interview. Look at who they talk to. Look at any tagged photos of them. Look at their funders and vice versa. Are there any recurring names and faces? Is there anyone who is a big funder? Who do they fine dine and party with? Who is on their VIP list? Is it a recurring political party? Now, we stalk the affiliates. We can imagine them as the supporting actors of a story. Ask yourself the same questions as you did the key players, but apply them to their gal pals or bestest bros. You might find out some crazy red dots. You might even find that some of their funders, friends, and VIPs are criminals, registered sex offenders, and propaganda enthused moneymakers.

When I profiled Mr. Gates (see blog link in #1), I found out that he and Jeffrey Epstein were real tight…years after Mr. Epstein was forced to register as a sex offender. We then ask: Isn’t it odd to do business with someone who has sexually molested juvenile girls? These are the kinds of questions you should be asking, when a key player still hangs with a questionable affiliate player. This will sometimes take a lot of digging, but it will both clarify and bring much to the surface.

3. Where is the money?

AKA: WHO is profiting from this? Oh, now this is my favorite question. Everyone should be asking it. As I discover the key players and affiliate players, MONEY is my next question. Mmm – makes me want to stash dollar bills in my bra and throw them out, just to add to the spirit of the theme. Just kidding. I don’t wear bras. Kidding. Or am I? Anyway. Money equals power; does it not? You’d better believe (or not believe, if you’re not a red pilled, free thinking little rascal who chooses not to) (wink) that anytime there is a “pandemic”, mobs and riots, or any piece of absurdly shocking news that kind of makes ya go, “Huh?” or “I feel like there’s something missing,” that you’re literally right on the money. Please applaud me and cue the fake crowd laughter. Someone, somewhere, in the depths of the system, is profiting from it. I’ll be dissecting more of mainstream media’s narrative in the near future (this is an accessory to the money), but for now, let’s continue to take a look at the key players and affiliates. Did you notice the rash of celebrities suddenly promoting Bill Gates and his magical Covid19 vaccine on Twitter and Instagram? Did you notice how Bill Gates just randomly appeared on Together at Home? Isn’t this circle of connections interesting? Where’s the money?

“Oh hey guys! I stepped down as CEO from Microsoft less than a month ago, wanted to suddenly focus on global health, and now I’m suddenly going to make vax fit into the music industry. My new hair band will be in the cyber finale!” “Vax the way [uh huh, uh huh] I like ittttt [uh huh, uh huh]!” (You’re welcome) MLM marketers essentially profit by their pyramid of people as it grows. Healthcare workers often get bonuses for selling “prescribing” vaccination or certain medication. The politically enthused elites are no different. “Pandemics” and riots and fear mongering headlines are no different. Asking “Where is the money?” will lead you down a path of compelling clues.

4. Who are they funded/endorsed by?

Now this is where we really come full circle. This tag teams it with #3, but take a look at the key players, affiliates, and the information you gathered about them. This is not to say that every single key player and/or affiliate is automatically going to be a “bad guy”, but rather, their funders, whether it be an elite and/or their organization, will tell you a lot. Notice patterns. What is the recurring political agenda, moral compass, and what are their core values? Who/what else does the key player’s funder fund? Bill Gates funded IHME (see blog post link in #1). This was Covid19’s statistical measuring system/initial predictor. Guess what? It turned out to be flawed. Unfathomably flawed. Some key players will take a bit more digging, but if you’re lucky, this piece can sometimes be easy peasy, lemonier than lemon squeezy. If they have a website with a search engine (such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation), you can literally type in your curiosities, and it will display it for you. This will become a huge wakeup call, as the puzzle pieces come together. Caught ya red handed, Bill!

5. Is this a timeline or a bias?

It always makes me giggle a little when I see someone ranting about how people need to be stating the “facts”, all the while pasting a link to a mainstream, biased headline underneath, and regurgitating the same narrative. Ah, yes. Facts vs. bias. It’s possible to gather some facts from mainstream media. It’s possible to determine the gist of what is happening. But, you won’t be getting the unfiltered, directly quoted, narrative in context…if it doesn’t fit their agenda. A bias looks like an account with some of the facts, but with biased headlines and the storyline shape shifted to fit an agenda. A timeline or factual analysis looks like a dated, unbiased chain of events or happenings, with all facts taken into consideration. Analytical facts and a chain of events, of course, can then lead to a bias, but the bias should always come secondary. Take a quick Google search on an issue, and note which of these you see in mass.

6. Is this a personal account or a statistical phenomenon?

Have you ever seen those photos that go viral on social media, regarding an issue? Have you ever noticed that MSM seems to create a generalized assumption based off of a few people they handpick to cover? Have you ever noticed the emotional tug you feel? Have you ever asked yourself: Why does one narrative always seem to generalize for the masses? Where is the statistic? Who do they get their statistical count from? Who is the funder for the statistical count? Is this really a pandemic? Is there an actual need for a revolution? Is this really a mass issue? Or, is it a generalized speculation? During any heated political headline trending, pandemic, social issue, etc., I see a lot of personal narratives, a lot of generalizations, with little to no info on how something is actually a pandemic, worldwide issue, or social issue in mass. This isn’t to say that personal accounts shouldn’t be taken into consideration, but the emotionally tugged appeal behind them should not shape our mindset to regard it as a fact for the masses. If we go by a statistic from MSM, but statistical counts have been drastically flawed before, why should we trust what we are being fed by the same source, same statistical measurement, and same funder? And so, we ask: is this a personal account, or is it actually a statistical phenomenon with compelling evidence to back it up?

7. What is the unlterior motive?

If you think that televised media, social media, and mainstream headlines are just pumping out resources for your personal gain and favor, think again. Do you really believe that mainstream headlines have your best interest in mind? Do you believe that they want you to know truth? Have they proven integrity? Do they provide evidence in an unbiased, clearcut, timeline or analysis? Do they alter footage, quotes, and mold their words and articles to fuel an agenda that supports them? Have you ever asked yourself: Why does media hone in and obsessively cause us to obsess over one end of the spectrum? What if media uses this as fuel to distract us from a larger issue at stake? What if we are only getting a sample from MSM? What if they manipulate headlines and alter footage to protect a political power? What are they trying to hide? Why are theories “debunked” on Google and televised media, yet they offer little to zero explanation on HOW they have been “debunked”? What if their political power is the unjust and the oppressor, and we are but the sheep who consume and regurgitate? Are we being led astray? What is the ulterior motive, and what do they want from ME? Ask yourself questions 1-6, and then #7 will speak for itself.

Congratulations! You’re well on your way to pushing the bullies on the playground away from you. Even on the issues that become complex, hard to distinguish, and perhaps even pose more of a challenge to question and research, ask yourself these 7 questions as you read, and you’ll be questioning mainstream media like a #BOSS in no time.

Happy Tuesday! And as always, stay skeptical, my friends! xo
